Fat Lip

Check out that top lip...

Eric fell at Grandma Riley's and got a fat lip. Not only did he get a fat lip, but with the way his mouth collided with the edge of a wood frame he also had about an inch and a half of gum tissue that was torn and flapping above his four front teeth. Yep, that's right. You'd pull up his top lip and the gum tissue would come with it exposing some bone and the roots of his teeth!

Now, I've worked for many years in various dental offices and this STILL gave me the heebie-jeebies! Luckily, the mouth heals very quickly. We went home to Gucci's, tucked this cute little face into bed, and by morning the gum tissue had started to reattach itself back to the bone.

Ahhh! How do I spell relief?
